Unexpected and fun. Thoughtless and crude. Different, especially different. So would have to describe my initial impressions of this movie that, above all things, I wonder. At least that happened to me when I first saw this movie without knowing much about it, not expecting much either and, why not say, probably expecting some comedy nonsense quinceaƱera. There are few times when you can enjoy that strange little satisfaction to be wrong, when a job says, I am much more than you expected.
And that clearly is a Kick-Ass movie authentic, without discussions. The freshness of this movie breaks out above in its history, others original. In it, break many molds and preconceptions of how a story or what is the profile of the heroes and villains. The script introduces us to several characters who, on the need to pursue their passions or redemptions, chart a common way, a particular meeting point. All done in a cool concept, dynamic and original.
The story initially focuses on Dave (Aaron Johnson), an ordinary girl. Even say that it is much more commonplace than the average, a loser would say some (me, not.) However, and despite not having any particular skills, decides to follow his convictions to become super hero. This idea, however simple it may seem, is absolutely absurd, at any level who want to see. But Dave is extremely inflexible and determined to become the superhero dream, Kick-Ass, despite the many setbacks that lie ahead.
Gradually, Kick-Ass will go gaining a name and a picture. On his way he crossed Hit Girl and Big Daddy, a couple composed of an unusual man and his young daughter who, like Kick-Ass, become super heroes, with the difference that they have real skills and specific reasons: Vengeance . Last, the other ladod the spectrum, the figure of Chris, who as the son of a mobster and living always in the shadow of his father looking equally create an alter ego: Red Mist.
In developing the plot and the way in which the protagonists find, we see scenes nice, funny, very appropriate for the youth genre that many expected. But at the same time, will see action rampant, and violence rising tone, much more intense than many expected. And with raw thematic twists, totally unfit for the young genre that many expected. Hit Girl's character for example, is a total success. Without revealing any plot sin must confess that its image and role would be located much better in Japanese anime avatars, but it is certainly a character who never, or at least, seldom seen in Hollywood. Well
directed (Matthew Vaughn), the film shows fluid, dynamic, motivated but attentive to many details. The performances are worthy of recognition since the absence of high-sounding names and figures (except Nicholas Cage plays a secondary role), we see well-developed characters, which generate a magnetic personality thanks to a well-prepared in the usual place of attraction which generates consecrated a star.
In short I must say that Kick-Ass Movie is a fresh, entertaining, original and dynamic. I have the certainty that soprendera to more than one. What's more, dare I say from now on, you can go becoming a new classic of its genre.
There are many more details to mention. But I'll leave it all at its discretion. Check it out tell me.
